Relocating to Vancouver

I am a certified relocation consultant and have been active in this area since 2000.  As I relocated from England to Vancouver I feel I have a unique, personal view of the hazards involved.

I am able to assist clients with:
  1. Familiarization tours
  2. Temporary accommodation
  3. Rental Home Search
  4. Real Estate Purchase/Sale
  5. Settling In Services
  6. Relocation from within North America or International
I am familiar with both the public and private school systems.  Prior to clients arriving in Vancouver, we communicate via e-mail and I have checklists to ensure a smooth transistion.

My service encompasses the entire family.  If everyone is not happy then the transferee cannot be proactive in the work setting.

Real estate can be a daunting proposition; my approach is to hear you the way that I would like to be heard.  Every purchase/sale is important to me and nothing is too much trouble in order to achieve your real estate goal.  Your happiness is my only goal!

Whether you're moving across town or across the country, with relocation comes excitement and uncertainty.  Moving to a new neighbourhood is a big step and I can help provide you with all the information you need to help you make the right choice for you and your family.

Not only will you need to decide what type of house you would like, but you're also going to have to consider the neighbourhood and the amenities which are important to you.  A few things to consider include:
  • Do you want to live in the city or suburbs?
  • Do you want to live close to work?
  • What schools are nearby?
  • What amenities are important to you?
A new house in a new city means new adjustments.  If you're new to Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, I can help you get to know the city and sites as a Vancouverite.  Here are some of the services I can offer:
  • Airport pickup;
  • Arranging accomodation during your house-hunting/moving;
  • Providing imformation and maps and arranging for personalized tours to help you get to know your new city;
  • Giving you information about schools and community services in your area;
  • Providing information on local services (such as obtaining your BC Drivers Licence); and
  • Referrals for doctors, dentists, bankers and other professionals whom you'll likely need
If you're new to Canada, I can also help you with:
  • Relocation documentation checklists to ensure you have all the necessary documents for your family;
  • Professional training assessments;
  • International credential transfers; and
  • Communicating your needs to local services

Buying a house is on of the most important decisions you will make, and choosing the right realtor to help you along the way is crucial.  I can help you find not only your dream house but also the peace of mind that comes with knowing you've found the home and neighbourhood that meets your needs and the needs of your family.
